From the families who took one home

We drove six hours to collect our golden shaded boy and it was worth every mile. He came home with a folder — vaccination card, microchip paperwork, a care sheet written specifically for him, and a blanket that smelled like his mother. He slept through the first night. Three months on he is the most relaxed animal I have ever lived with.

— Amara O., Austin, TX

We took the bonded pair and cannot imagine having split them. They sleep in a single knot and groom each other constantly. What sold us was the honesty — we were told plainly which of the two would cope alone if we could only take one, rather than being pushed into buying both.

— Daniel & Priya R., Manchester, UK

I had read all the warnings about fold breeding and came in sceptical. They walked me through the pairing, showed me the mother's straight ears, and sent the vet's joint assessments unprompted. That level of transparency is the reason I adopted here rather than anywhere else.

— Chinelo A., Toronto, ON

The video call before we committed made all the difference. We got to see the room the kittens were raised in, meet both parents, and watch our girl play for twenty minutes. No pressure, no rush, and they answered a genuinely silly number of questions from me.

— Marcus T., Denver, CO

Two children under seven and a very patient kitten. We were steered towards the sturdiest boy in the litter rather than the prettiest one, which turned out to be exactly the right call. He tolerates a lot and asks for more.

— The Whitfield Family, Leeds, UK

Twelve weeks felt like a long wait when I was impatient to bring her home. Having lived with a cat taken too early before, I now understand exactly why they refuse to budge on it. She is beautifully socialised and has never once bitten in play.

— Elena V., Warsaw, PL

Our flight nanny handed her to us at arrivals looking completely unbothered — in the cabin the whole way, exactly as promised. She was eating within an hour of getting home and using the tray correctly from the first try.

— Sofia M., Lisbon, PT

I messaged at eleven at night about a feeding question, months after adopting, fully expecting to wait until morning. Got a proper answer in fifteen minutes. The lifetime support line is not a marketing phrase here.

— Yusuf K., Dubai, AE

The coat is even softer in person than the photographs suggest. They showed me how to comb behind the ears while she was sleepy, which is the trick that makes it possible at all. She now sits for it.

— Grace N., Nairobi, KE

Payment was straightforward, receipted at every step, and nobody ever asked us for anything strange. After some of the scams we ran into elsewhere while searching, that ordinariness was a relief in itself.
